Elle Rene is a painter, writer and photographer from Barbados. She is a graduate of the Associate’s degree in Fine Arts at the Barbados Community College, also receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Ringling College of Art and Design. Since then, she has showcased her art in several galleries across Barbados, with her first solo exhibition, ‘Insight,’ taking place in March 2024. She loves exploring unusual colour and shape combinations to create interesting compositions that play into the beauty of the human form. As she would describe it, ‘exploring the vivid and fantastical nature of people.’
